Often the lawyer you first meet and deal with is not the same one that you end up with later.  I won't pawn you off on some subordinate.  Often times you speak to those annoying machines and have to dial numerous extensions to reach the attorney you want to deal with.  You will never have that at my firm.  We always emphasize one-on-one contact with our clients.
